Between high mountains with a view of the fjord, the family has been farming for almost six generations.
The summer café and farmer's market are full of ciders, apple juice, jams, fruit and meats. Everything is grown locally and processed according to old traditions .
We are so proud and confident of our origins, history and sustainability that we have been designated as one of the few Handcrafted companies in Norway.

The summer cafe is open June 10-August 10 for simple food such as cured meat platter, "Grandmas apple cake" with ice cream, apple juice, ciderfjøl, cider and home-brewed beer.
The farmer's market is full of homemade products from the farm.

Come by the farm to taste the traditional cider from Hardanger! If you want to try the taste of Hardanger, we recommend ciderflight and and cured meat .

Hans and Helena - Bought the farm in 1888, and built the first houses.
1910
Synnøva and Johannes - Cultivated the farm and laid the foundation for farming
1950
Hans and Kari - Fruit and animals
1990
Erling and Synnøva - Upgraded the barn and built a new house, renovated the orchards
2006
Hans and Gro - Started Syse Farm in 2006 and have expanded the farm since then
